A classic Shigaraki item, the tsukuwa jar. The pattern on the shoulder, known as the Higakimon crest, has a meaning of warding off evil spirits, perhaps because the jar was originally a container for storing seeds or preserved ingredients. The opening is designed to ward off mice, with a turned mouth. The origin of the word tsukuwa (squishing pot) is thought to come from the fact that it resembles the appearance of a person crouching.
